Leading AI Projects With Confidence: What CPMAI Gives Project Managers in Practice
with Michael Krahn, CPA, CMA, CHFP, CSCA, PMP, PMI-ACP, CPMAI

In this session, Michael Krahn, CPMAI, PMP, PMI-ACP, CPA, CMA, CSCA explores how the CPMAI® methodology equips project managers to lead AI initiatives with greater clarity, credibility, and control.

Rather than focusing on certification preparation, the webinar examines the practical value CPMAI provides to PMs in real-world delivery; including how it enhances governance, risk management, stakeholder communication, and decision-making across the AI lifecycle.

Using a real AI initiative as an illustrative case, the session demonstrates how CPMAI helps PMs:

  • Structure ambiguous AI work into iterative, governed phases that require an agile mindset while maintaining delivery discipline
  • Ask the right questions of business, data, and technical teams
  • Set realistic expectations with executives
  • Reduce delivery risk without slowing innovation

Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of why CPMAI has become a critical extension of the modern project manager’s toolkit, particularly for those working at the intersection of technology, data, and business outcomes.
