Emotional Intelligence and Leadership
Presented by Rebecca Bompiedi

This session describes the essential role of Emotional Intelligence (EI) in effective leadership and high-performing teams. It presents the core domains of EI — self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management—and how EI is foundational to authentic and transformational leadership, as it influences communication, decision making, trust, and stress management. This session also introduces the concept of Emotional Quotient (EQ) as the measurable expression of EI. It explores how EQ assessments capture strengths and development areas, and explains the value of this detailed breakdown in creating awareness for personal, social, and leadership development.
