Self-Organization and Team Success: Coaching and Mentoring
with David Mantica

When stuck on a challenging problem, is it better to have one person thinking through the issue, or a team of people working together to solve the issue at hand? Self-organized teams are about empowering those that do the work to decide how the work gets done, what to work on, and how to break through any challenges that may arise. Shifting the focus to support autonomy allows for an increase in output speed, as well as an increase in the usability of what is produced.

We will discuss the elements of that “contract,” the responsibilities of all the parties involved, and the problems faced when actualizing.
