Using a Shared Project Management Methodology
facilitated by Joseph Carfagno, PMP

These days there are many project management methodologies to choose from: Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile and all its variants. Organizations that have a consistent methodology find it easier to consistently report project status. Project members can more easily move to other projects. The methodology your organization uses should be adapted to the type of work the organization uses. It should also be enforced.

Does your organization have a standard project methodology. If so, what benefits does your organization get for it. Does your PMO enforce use of the methodology? How do you deal with team members who don’t adhere to it?

Many organizations have recently migrated from using Waterfall to using Agile. Have you been involved in such a transformation? How successful was it?
