Integrating Consultants into Projects
facilitated by Joseph Carfagno, PMP

There are two main reasons to use consultants on a project: to gain expertise on something the organization and project team members need or to address a shortfall in resources. Consultants can also be change agents. Companies transforming to Agile typically hire consultants.

How often does your organization use consultants? When they are hired, how do you ensure they have access to the resources they need and that they report on their progress appropriately? What do you do when the consultant doesn’t meet expectations?

Bring your insights, opinions, suggestions for action, or just plain curiosity about Integrating Consultants into Projects.
