Integrated Master Plan & Integrated Master Schedule - Tools & Techniques
Presented by Antonella Zompa, PMP

Taking what we learned with WBS fundamentals, we will learn how important a WBS is when managing a program that is made up of multiple projects. We will cover how to establish program governance using an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) following the framework outlined by the Department of Defense (DoD).

Next, we will review how the framework integrates multiple project schedules and budgets through the Contractual Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) and the Statement of Work (SoW). Once the framework is described, we will then go through an example to show the power of IMP and IMS in monitoring program performance and communicating status at all levels.
