Working with Regulators
facilitated by Joseph Carfagno, PMP

Project management in regulated industries has unique challenges. Project managers should be aware of regulations and make sure that the project adheres to them. You may need to work with subject matter experts both inside and outside of your organization. It is of course always best to build compliance into your projects. How do you ensure that complying with regulations isn’t too onerous for the people executing the project?

Regulators treat each audit that they perform as a project. The regulator's goal is to ensure compliance.

How do you work with regulators? What do you do when there is an audit finding for something you are responsible for?

Bring your insights, opinions, war stories, suggestions for action, or just plain curiosity about Working with Regulators.
